McLean, VA | March 31, 2017 – SMS, a leading IT solutions provider and systems integration firm with over 40 years of experience providing innovative solutions to the Federal Government announced today it was awarded the Army Cloud Computing Enterprise Transformation (ACCENT) contract by the Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, Illinois.

The multiple-award IDIQ contract, worth $247.7 million over three years, will provide commercial cloud solutions for all eligible Army enterprise systems/applications. The Army is moving designated IT applications, systems, and associated data to the commercial cloud and the ACCENT contract will help fulfill this critical mission.
